First day commuting to work. 31km in 50mn. Not bad taking in consideration that with the car I do (without traffic) 35mn.
I only hope the running machine keeps up to speed. So far so good.
I changed my ride. Stromer, NEVER AGAIN. Fortunately there are more reliable and better “value-for-money” alternatives available. Want to buy a Speedpedelec and need tips? Drop me a line @ jorge(dot)rosmaninho(at)gmail(dot)com
Very proud of my Stromer. After many months of research, I believe I have done the right decision for my new S-Pedelec: a Stromer ST3. In the comings days I will be sharing my experience driving this running machine. Stay tunned.
Before deciding for Stromer I spent many days researching. Online, in Forums, on Cycling Magazines... As I read in one of the forums: compared to other mobility technologies, the E-bike technology is still in the baby phase. The first e-bikes were created in late 80s/90s. We are talking about 30 years. Thinking that the first cars date from ~1880s, we have here a 100 years gap. All E-bikes manufacturer seem to fight here and there with their technology. One realizes some unhappiness in the forums and Stromer is also often criticized. For this reason it was important to rely on a premium brand, basing its production on premium technology and offering a premium service. Furthermore, as I am based in Switzerland, I believe (and hope) that having a Swiss E-bike will give some shorter delays if spares are needed or if anything happens. I hope I am right in my assumptions. First impression after first ride today: 5* out of 5*. Good acceleration, easy to keep constant speed at 45/47 km/h.
